A special hose developed by do88 for the task of delivering a large air flow to an intake, turbo inlet and so on that sits in a position where an ordinary hose bend takes up too much room. In very tight spaces this hose is used to advantage, as its ingenious design allows good flow despite the tight radius. See the extra images, which show how little this hose projects from the connection it is fitted to. To stop the hose being sucked flat under vacuum it is made with five layers of reinforcement in the most exposed places. A flow loss of only 10% compared with a conventional 90° hose is hard to beat, given its extremely slim design. Intended applications are intake applications, air filter, turbo inlet, supercharger inlet and so on. The hose also copes with lower positive pressure, but then loses its flat shape.
