This hose clamp is fitted with a separate inner ring in stainless steel. The ring is designed to give the hose extra protection, particularly against the underside of the screw housing. This hose clamp is particularly recommended when fitting silicone hoses. The surface of silicone hoses can easily be damaged by the underside of the screw housing if the wrong type of hose clamp is used. The inner ring not only prevents damage to the hose but also distributes the clamping pressure more evenly around the hose. (*) It is recommended to apply up to 75% of the maximum values in the table. (**) The maximum pressure may vary depending on the type of hose used and the design of the connection. Note: to choose the right size of clamp, check that the outside diameter of the hose falls within the clamping range given in the table.
