The only Volvo 240 Group A replica intercooler on the market! A high-performance intercooler developed by do88 which is a replica of the 240 Group A intercooler! During the 1980s Volvo competed in the standard car series with the Volvo 240 Turbo (Group A). To be allowed to take part in the Group A class of the ETC (European Touring Championship), at least 500 units in this specification had to be available for purchase by private individuals and to be road legal. In 1983 Volvo produced 500 cars called the Volvo 242 Turbo Evolution. These cars were fitted with a German-designed intercooler from Längerer & Reich. Beautifully shaped end tanks with very good flow. Using the latest 3D technology, intercooler end tanks as identical as possible have been recreated. This was possible thanks to the chance to borrow a genuine Volvo 240 Group A intercooler. Both connections on the intercooler are 71 mm (2.75").
