An in-house developed 3" intake hose from do88 that replaces the original intake hose. - The whole hose has an inner diameter of 76 mm (3"), considerably larger than the original for increased air flow. - 76 mm connection to the mass air flow meter (for a larger mass air flow meter that has been fitted) - Designed for the 70 mm connection on the turbocharger! - A dump valve recirculation take-off (25 mm) is provided on the underside of the hose. It is intended for applications that do not use the original by-pass valve in the turbocharger. A plug is included if it is not to be used. Note that the hose is designed for a 70 mm turbocharger connection. The hose can, however, be fitted to an original turbocharger with a 60 mm connection by tightening the hose clamp (this works and seals properly!). The hose is reinforced with steel wire so that it does not collapse under high vacuum. The hose can be ordered in three different colours: blue / black / red. There is no difference in performance between the colours, so you choose whichever colour you think suits best. All original part numbers are given only as reference numbers.
