The very best turbo inlet pipe on the market for the Volvo C30 C70 S40 V50 2004-13! This kit is for those with high power targets who want to upgrade to the very best. Our inlet pipe flows better than the original charge pipe, which has been verified both in the car and on our own SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench. The original pipe between the air filter and the turbo inlet has an inner diameter of only 56 mm at its narrowest point. The original pipe also has a resonator hose before the turbo inlet. These factors restrict the air flow to the turbo. Our inlet pipe has an outer diameter of 76 mm (3") all the way, to eliminate all restrictions. The do88 inlet pipe gives an air flow of 655 CFM at 0.125 bar pressure drop, compared with 594 CFM for the original pipe. The inlet pipe is made from 3" extruded aluminium tube, mandrel-bent in one piece to the correct shape. Specially designed silicone hoses of the highest quality with 4-ply polyester/aramid reinforcement, so they cope with high temperatures and vacuum. Bear in mind that the original inlet pipe was designed for the power the car had as standard. When power is increased, or when a standard car is used very hard, its performance is no longer sufficient. So as soon as boost pressure is raised / the software is upgraded / the car is chipped, our charge pipes give improved performance and durability.
