The best intake system on the market for the Volvo V40 T4 T5 Turbo 2013-2015! This kit is for those with high power targets who want to upgrade to the very best. Key benefits of the do88 intake system: - Verified increase on the dyno of +21 hp / +60 Nm (Volvo V70 2.5T with Stage 1 software, otherwise standard). - 24% better flow than the original. Verified on our own SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench. - Intake temperature after the intercooler 9°C lower than the original and 21°C lower than an open filter with a heat shield fitted. - Lower back pressure and intake temperature, up to 3.5% lower fuel consumption. - See the diagrams below the product images. Our intake system is designed to improve flow / lower the vacuum while drawing in only cold air. Many aftermarket intake systems draw hot air directly behind the fan, which results in very high intake temperatures and lost power/performance. Our system is therefore a true "cold air intake". Bear in mind that the original intake system was designed for the power the car had as standard. When power is increased its performance may no longer be sufficient, and the result is too much vacuum on the suction side of the turbo, which lowers engine efficiency and loses power. So as soon as boost pressure is raised / the software is upgraded / the car is chipped, our intake system gives improved performance compared with the original intake system. The do88 intake system comes with all the parts needed for fitting. Items included in this kit: 1. Air filter housing 2. High-flow panel air filter 3. Hoses 4. Mounting hardware
