Flexible silicone hose, a real problem solver. Compared with an ordinary silicone hose, this flexible hose is made with a steel spiral woven into the reinforcement. This gives the hose excellent flexibility and a high burst pressure. The outside of the hose is not smooth as on an ordinary silicone hose; it has a groove in the surface that runs as a spiral along the whole hose. This groove helps the hose to bend more easily. Because of its flexibility it suits a great many applications, for example as a radiator hose, heater hoses and so on. The hose can be bent to suit many different purposes. The hose tends to straighten out; it is the connections it is fitted between that determine its shape. Flexible hose with an internal diameter over 51 mm is not as flexible as the smaller sizes; these are suited to gentle bends. The minimum bend radius of this hose is given in the specification table.
