The very best intercooler solution on the market for the SAAB 9-3 2.8T V6! The package contains do88's in-house developed performance intercooler and charge pipe kit. This package is intended for anyone with high power targets who wants to upgrade to the very best! Simply fitting our performance intercooler is already a huge improvement. Combined with our charge pipe, the improvement becomes enormous. Our charge pipe flows considerably better than the original, which we have verified both in the car and on our own SuperFlow SF-1020 flow bench. Major advantages of the do88 BigPack (original intercooler/charge pipe in brackets): - Intercooler core volume: 13770 cm3 (7725 cm3), do88 78% larger! - Air flow at 0.15 bar pressure drop: 315 CFM (273 CFM), do88 15% higher! - Temperature after the intercooler under identical test conditions: 36°C (57°C), do88 21°C lower! - Direct fit on the vehicle models listed! This BigPack consists of an intercooler made entirely from aluminium together with a complete kit of 2.5" / 2.75" aluminium charge pipes and silicone hoses. The kit replaces everything between the turbo and the throttle body, which dramatically improves flow and cooling capacity compared with the original. The intercooler is built with CAD-designed, flow-optimised cast tanks and a carefully selected core in order to achieve the best possible cooling capacity together with the lowest possible pressure drop! The charge pipes are made from 2.5" (turbo to intercooler) and 2.75" (intercooler to throttle body) extruded aluminium tube, mandrel-bent to shape! Bespoke silicone hoses of the highest quality with 4-layer polyester/aramid reinforcement, built to cope with high temperatures and pressures. It is worth remembering that the original intercooler and its charge pipes were designed for the power the car had as standard. When power is increased, or when the car is used very hard even in standard form, their performance is no longer sufficient. So even with raised boost pressure / a software upgrade / a remap, our BigPack will deliver improved performance! A common misconception is that good cooling cannot be achieved with an intercooler in the original location, and that a front-mounted intercooler / FMIC would be much better. In reality the do88 BigPack is far better than most FMIC installations, where there is only room for a core with far too small a cooling area, often with the air supply partly blocked by the crash bar, for example, which in many cases gives poorer cooling than the original.
