BMC model-specific air filters BMC air filters is a world-leading player in the market for vehicle air filters, suited both to road use and to racing at the highest level. BMC's filters are designed and developed to allow better flow than the original and in some cases produce less than half the pressure drop of an original paper filter. The filters therefore allow better flow together with better filtration and thereby increased protection for the engine! The filters are supplied pre-oiled and are ready to use straight away on delivery. They are designed with a maximum air filter area, built on a fine-mesh metal structure that is then coated with several layers of filter media. This cotton-based filtration material permits good permeability while preventing contaminants and dirt from 7 microns upwards. Synthetic filters can normally prevent contaminants from 80 microns upwards. With today's technology there is no better filter system available! The red rubber has been developed specifically to withstand heat, impacts and vibration. All model-specific filters are designed to fit the respective application without modification. All BMC filters are washable. We offer cleaning fluid and oil that are particularly suited to this purpose.
